Empowering Young Innovators: ATL Student Innovator Program at AIC-Pinnacle

The Atal Tinkering Lab - Student Innovator Program (ATL-SIP) is the world’s largest initiative of its kind, nurturing young minds to think differently and solve real-world problems through innovation. Who would have thought that students from Class 7 to 10 would challenge conventional thinking and redefine problem-solving? But that’s exactly what happened!

At AIC-Pinnacle Entrepreneurship Forum, we had the privilege of mentoring ten school teams from across Maharashtra, guiding them through an enriching journey of Design Thinking, Proof of Concept (PoC) Development, Business Planning, Marketing, Pitch Preparation, and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Their passion, creativity, and determination were nothing short of inspiring!

Celebrating the Future of Innovation

Winners – Team Sahyadri
Two remarkable girls from Shri Bhairavnath Madhyamik Vidyalaya, a government school, took the top spot with their Rice Sieving Machine—a practical solution designed to assist rural farmers. Not only did they develop a working prototype, but they are already renting out the machine, generating income, and making an impact in their community. This is grassroots entrepreneurship at its finest!

Runner-Up – Team Vinayak
Students from Akshara International School impressed the jury with Geeta AI, an AI-powered voice bot designed to simplify daily life. This innovation aims to support disabled individuals, working professionals, and those less familiar with technology, offering personalized assistance and enhancing accessibility. A step towards inclusive technology!

With the Government of India’s recent Union Budget announcement of 50,000 new Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) in schools across the country, the future of innovation in India is brighter than ever.
